An open deck wedding on the Silva can provide those on board with an incredible view of Halifax as the late afternoon sun shines through the sails and rigging above. It's the perfect way to spend an afternoon in the city - there is no rush and there is no place to be except in the company of your family and friends. As a wedding photographer it was my first time on board the silva - I hope visit again.

Ottawa Wedding
Not too long ago I found myself in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia for a New Years Eve wedding. It was the celebration of Whitney's older sister Jenna and her soon to be husband, Kevin. This past November I found myself in Ottawa with many of the same individuals - this time for Whitney & Lawrence's wedding. One of the nice things about being a wedding photographer is the ability to meet future clients at weddings - there are an endless number of opportunities to build connections and work through a network of friends and family. Every weekend is another chance to meet new faces and I find that to be equally priceless and rewarding.
It had been quite some time since I'd wandered the streets of Ottawa (close to 10 years to be exact!). Nepean point in early November is as cold as I remember it being, but the view is no less spectacular. There they were - two young hearts in front of the heart of the country. Success.
I may be based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, but I’m not afraid to travel. Planning a wedding in the Ottawa area and looking for a photographer? Touch base using the contact section of the website and we can discuss details!
