During 2014 I noticed a shift in the type of weddings that I was documenting. There were a number of outdoor ceremonies hosted at family homes & cottages, and there were a number of small ceremonies and elopements. The pace of these was certainly different and I was able to take my time and let the creativity flow with the formal photos. A huge thank you to Roshana & Kolby - I had a great time capturing their wedding photos in the Halifax Public Gardens. As a wedding photographer this is a location I try to avoid during the height of summer, but for reasons unknown we pretty much had the botanical heart of Halifax to ourselves.
