Open for business in October of 1928, the Lord Nelson Hotel dominates the skyline on the corner of South Park & Spring Garden, overlooking small shops to the south and the Halifax Public Gardens to the west. There is a lovely beat to the area - the construction of the hotel itself was the spark that started much of it.
