From a backyard meet & greet to an outdoor ceremony below Halifax's Saraguay House. I lost track of the smiles and the laughter. A solid group of people who weren't afraid to let loose and celebrate. And the late night grilled cheese truck? Amazing.
The Saraguay House is located along Purcells Cove Road, right next door to the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron. It’s easy to miss from the road - the main building is tucked behind a stand of pines and sits on a slope that leads to the Northwest Arm. But once you find it? I’d argue that this is one of the nicest venues in town. And that isn’t based on the structure itself, the beautiful grounds or the views through the floor to ceiling windows. The staff are second to none - from the bar to the kitchen. Have you booked a wedding at the Saraguay House? You know what I’m talking about. Thinking about it? Touch base with them ASAP. This one is a true gem.
Another special shout out to the mad talent at Jay Wells Salon - tucked away in a Brunswick Street Historic Property and making guests feel like they’re home.
