Rock Climbing Engagement Session at Chebucto Head
Are you looking to have engagement photos done?
Not sure what you should do for the session?
Terrified of feeling awkward in front of the camera?
Be yourself! Do what you like to do and let the session be a reflection of that.
It can be easy. I promise.
I’ve hiked Chebucto Head a number of times but there is a section of trail close to the lighthouse that I’d never explored. As someone with vertigo I tend to shy away from steep sections of hill and during each visit I’d kept my distance. Turns out I’d been missing out - what appears to be steep can be easily navigated and leads to a beautiful formation of granite rock. At a glance it looks untouched . . unexplored even. Look closer and you’ll notice the climbing bolts and hangers that have been secured to the rockface. It’s a playground for those who are far more adventurous than myself and these two were more than happy to spend an hour exploring the various paths that lead from base to peak.
From chalked hands to a starfish that should have been wearing green and purple shorts. From Garrison Tall Ship in a can to a real ship on the water, this was a session for the record books. Thank you, friends - I had a blast.
